The 50th joint annual conference of the German Society of Internal Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine (DGIIN) and the Austrian Society for Internal and General Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine (ÖGIAIN) took place this year in the center of Cologne in the historic convention and event center Gürzenich. Around 750 conference participants as well as 37 exhibitors and sponsors took part in the event, which aimed to promote scientific research, teaching and patient care in the field of internal intensive care and emergency medicine.
The 12 square meter trade fair stand of Hepa Wash was able to arouse interest among potential customers. We were glad to recieve a lot of positive feedback regarding the ADVOS procedure and its functionality.
Hepa Wash made a contribution to the scientific program with the ADVOS Symposium on the topic of “Application of ADVOS multi-organ support on the intensive care unit.”

German Anesthesiology Congress for physicians and nurses
Nuremberg Convention Center, NCC East

After three successful days, the trade fair DAC closed its doors on Friday, April 27th in Nuremberg. With around 3,400 participants and 117 exhibitors, as well as more than 200 presentations, DAC is one of the most important anesthesiology congresses in Germany. In addition to the latest scientific findings, current knowledge in the fields of anesthesiology, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, pain management and palliative care was imparted in numerous, meetings, case studies and workshops.
The company Hepa Wash presented itself with a well visited 16 qm booth in hall 7A.
Acute Kidney Injury and Continous renal replacement therapy
EC Convention Center Vicenza, Italy
June 12-14, 2018
The three-day convention with around 300 visitors as well as 28 exhibitors and sponsors took place for the first time in the new convention area of the IEG Convention Center in Vicenza, Italy.
The aim of the event was to bring together specialists from various disciplines with a multidisciplinary approach for critically ill patients with acute kidney damage and multiple organ dysfunction. 50 experts consisting of the world’s top scientists and researchers presented current literature insights about the most important advances in nephrology, intensive care, cardiology and cardiac surgery.
Hepa Wash was represented for the first time with a 6 square meter trade fair stand, very well positioned in the event hall 8.1.
Brussels Meeting Center
March 20 ‒ 23, 2018
For the 38th time, the annual International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine has successfully taken place in Brussels. The latest medical scientific findings, medicines, books and services were presented from companies around the world. 127 exhibitors were represented on 4,000 square meters of exhibition space in the Square – Brussels Meeting Center. Promisingly, Hepa Wash took part with a 9 qm stand in one of the biggest international congresses and received a lot of interest from distributors and potential customers.
The ADVOS procedure was reviewed at the scientific poster presentation of “ADVOS reduced liver and kidney disease markers and correct acidosis: the Hamburg experience”.

Congress Centrum Bremen
February 14 ‒ 16, 2018
For three days, the 28th Symposium on Intensive Care + Intensive Care in Bremen was the center of the healthcare industry with around 4,726 participants, thereof 89 % with season ticket, 11 % with day ticket. There were 48% nurses, 52% physicians and a total of 198 exhibitors on 2,874 square meters booth area represented.
The Hepa Wash booth was consistently well visited and was able to arouse interest among potential customers. Mainly positive feedback could be gathered from users of the ADVOS procedure.
ADVOS Satellite Symposium
In total, more than 80 visitors took part in the ADVOS Satellite Symposium on the topic “With ADVOS faster into the equilibrium – scalable therapy of multi-organ failure”.
